Horse Betting Tips For Today

If the EACH WAY horse betting tips we get seem to be a strong enough tip, and a high enough odd, then we’ll go ahead and put money down on the horse to PLACE, with the idea that we improve our chances of winning that PLACE BET, rather than betting on it to win.

Trying to minimize your risks is the name of the game, because there will be losses from time to time, no matter how good anyone’s tips are. If the horse race we are given a LAY betting tip on, only has 3 or 4 horses racing, we’ve figured it’s best to stay away from it and pass. Be sure you are also checking on each tip received, by going to your favourite horse racing news site and looking at the horses racing in that particular race. In our case, we like to use At The Races for most of our research. When researching on a horse race, if there are a good number of horses with win records for that distance and/or track, and your tip was a LAY tip, then you have a good chance of having a winning LAY bet. And if the reverse is true, that is, no other horses in the race, other than the one you were given a tip on to lose, has no winning records, don’t place a LAY bet on that horse, it’s just not worth doing. Also, don’t bother placing NAP (to win) bets on any horses with low odds as well, because again, if you take that bet, you are risking more than you will win back often times, or win very little for your efforts, and it’s worth remembering that those favourites don’t always win. There are many factors to take into consideration when trying to minimize your risks and increase your wins, but above all, remember to keep your emotions in check because that above all things can be ones undoing. If the day’s tips are going wrong, then don’t try to ‘make it up’ by doing any unresearched betting that seems to look good at a quick glance, you’ll often get burnt. It’s best to stick with your system. In our case, like we’ve stated, we concentrate on the LAY bets, and sort of cherry pick from the NAP and EACH WAY horse betting tips.
