2.40 York – “Elliptical” – Each Way Bet (Loss – Did not place, came in 13th)

And BetFan’s Newsletter Subscribers were given the following free tip this morning in their email:

1.55 Hexham – “Dorabelle” – NAP Bet (to win) – (WON @ odds 2.01 or “Evens”)

With the first win at 1.55pm today with “Dorabelle”, it ended up balancing out the loss that took place later on at 2.40 with “Elliptical”. Losses do happen which is why you need to be smart when placing your bets. The odds for “Elliptical” were awesome, and the horse had an encouraging history and write up, but, like we learned in the past, it’s much tougher to predict winners than losers, which is why we prefer Lay betting. In this case above, the 1.55 race with “Dorabelle” was almost a sure win, so we placed enough on this one to cover our bets on the 2.40 race that was more of a risk.

At the end of the day however, we tend to jump on LAY Betting tips more often than NAP (to win) Bets. Each Way Bets are however different in that they do present more possibilities on winnings, and we tend to load up on the PLACE BET, while putting a smaller amount on it to WIN.
