2011 marks the 90th anniversary of the world renowned Qatar Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe – It is run at Longchamp Racecourse, France, over a distance of 2,400 metres and is the most prestigious Horse Racing Event that takes place in Europe.

The Prix de L’arc de Triomphe is the race that crowns the champion of champions, it is a truly international honour with the world’s best jockeys, trainers and horses all coming together to fight it out on one of the worlds most demanding racecourses.
The Longchamp Racecourse is a 57 hectare horse racing facility located in Paris and is noted for its variety of interlaced tracks and a famous hill that provides a real challenge to competing thoroughbreds. It has several racetracks varying from 1,000 to 4,000 metres in length with 46 different starting posts.

Workforce is a strong and heavyset horse that has bags of muscle and stamina, he has taken home over £3 Million in prize money to date. Workforce has been confirmed as a runner for this years race and looks worthy of a back if you don’t mind the inherent risk this race brings.
So You Think has been confirmed by Aidan O’Brien as a runner at Longchamp. After a stunning career down under in Australia he is now in Europe and being well backed. He has shown some great form this season and it will be interesting to see how he fares after being confirmed for the race of champions.
The Alain De Royer-Dupre trained Sarafina came third in the Arc last season and has been aimed back at Longchamp all year by connections and could go close if on form. A longer shot than the other two horses in our opinion but smart money could go here for a big return.
