The Breeders Cup World Championship is an annual series of Horse Racing Events that takes place in the United States of America at the historic Churchill Downs Racecourse in Louisville, Kentucky on November 4th & 5th. Used as an end of year showcase and championship event, this race is not only popular with American horses; you will find the cream of the crop of European horses and their jockeys fully represented at this first class series.

Before the Breeders’ Cup expanded to two days, it was generally considered to be the richest day in sports. As of 2008, the second day of the Breeders’ Cup is the second-richest. In 2008, a total of $17 million was awarded on that day, down from $20 million in 2007.
