Huntingdon Racecourse is an intimate racing venue with an atmosphere all of its own, it was voted Best Small Racecourse in the South Midlands and East Anglia by the Racegoers Club. The course is less than five minutes from the pretty market town of Huntingdon set in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside, and is home to 17 Jump race meetings, spanning 9 months of the year.
Huntingdon Racecourse Facilities
Huntingdon Racecourse has one main enclosure where you can enjoy access to all the racecourse facilities whilst enjoying great views of the National Hunt racing and the parade ring. They have a range of bars including the newly refurbished Champagne and Seafood Bar, overlooking the parade ring and Bevan’s Bar, with a great view of the racing track.
The Peterborough Chase Restaurant:
The Peterborough Chase Restaurant, positioned on the 1st Floor of the Goodliff Stand, offers an unprecedented view of both the course and Parade Ring. Tables are reserved for the day and the package price includes main enclosure admission and a race day programme as well as a 3-course meal and light afternoon tea.The restaurant also offers diners a private viewing balcony, tote betting facilities, televised live racing and a fully licensed bar. Such is the restaurant’s popularity that we definitely advise racegoers to book in advance!
Hurdles Bistro:
Racegoers wishing to opt for a simpler menu should head for the Hurdles Bistro, where a variety of hot dishes are served throughout the course of the day, such as Roast of the Day and Fish and Chips as well as vegetarian options.
There are also extensive Bar facilities at Huntingdon Racecourse. The Goodliff Stand also incorporates Bevan’s Bar on the 1st floor, which, again boasting excellent views of the Racecourse and Parade Ring, makes a perfect base for the day.
Lentons Bar is situated on the ground floor of the Grandstand and offers a wide range of tasty hot dishes and cold snacks. Adjacent to the Parade Ring the newly refurbished Champagne and Seafood Bar, offers an alternative dining experience, and its glass fronted walls provides fantastic views of the horses in the parade ring.
Huntingdon Racecourse Directions
Huntingdon Racecourse is situated half a mile from the A14 Junction 22. The A14 links with the A1, M1, M11 and M6. This allows for easy access from the North and South, along with the West Midlands and East Coast.

Huntingdon Racecourse Dress Code
There is no strict dress code at Huntingdon Racecourse: Customers in all enclosures are reminded that shirts should not be removed. Racecourse Management do request that Hospitality and Restaurant guests dress smart casual, with no denim jeans, trainers or t-shirts.
