Worcester Racecourse, with its picturesque tree-lined track and unique position nestling on the banks of the River Severn, offers a great day out for all the family. The racecourse provides a choice of afternoon, evening and weekend racing along with Family Fun days and the most prestigious date in the calendar – Ladies Day, Saturday 4th June 2011.
Worcester Racecourse is laid out as an oval circuit of about 13 furlongs in length, with easy bends and nine fences — five in the back straight and four in the home straight — The course seems to attract big fields and the handicap hurdles are often particularly competitive. Worcester is one of only six courses that offers racegoers the opportunity to witness National Hunt racing throughout the summer, and the atmosphere at these meetings is indescribable.Worcester Racecourse is split into three enclosures which suit all race goers. Each enclosure benefits from top rate facilities and will keep you in upmost style.
- Premier Enclosure – Premier admission badge gives you full access to all public areas of the course, plus exclusive use of the Premier Lounge Bar on the first floor of the Grandstand and the Severn Restaurant on the top floor.
- Grandstand Enclosure – This enclosure offers Grandstand viewing facilities, access to the track side of the Paddock and Pre-Parade Ring, and use of the Grandstand Bar, both on the ground floor of the Grandstand. There are also a variety of catering units adjacent to the Bookmakers ring.
- Centre Course Enclosure – A favourite for families and party bookings. The bar offers a selection of snacks and drinks, or there is the picnic parking area. The Ladbrokes on-course betting shop operates on Saturdays and at evenings meetings.

Worcester Racecourse possesses one of the finest restaurants at any racecourse and many options for liter bites and drinks. Facilities are second to none and will not disappoint even the most demanding patron.
The Severn Restaurant
The Severn Restaurant is situated on the second floor of the grandstand with stunning views of the racecourse and the River Severn. A typical dining package includes: A three course choice menu with coffee, County Enclosure entrance to the racecourse, reserved table for the entire race meeting and parking in the Centre Course.
The Croft Suite Bar
This is situated on the first floor of the Grandstand and comprises a bar and self-service style restaurant, a variety of food options and snacks are always available
Grandstand Bar
The bar on the ground floor of the Grandstand is open to County Enclosure visitors. In addition, there are catering concessions and fast food outlets located outside on the Grandstand concourse.
Owners and Trainers Bar
This bar is conveniently situated near to the weighing room and adjacent to the parade ring and offers a drink selection. There is an outdoor decking bar and raised viewing area next to the bar which is also open to County Enclosure ticket holders.

From the north or south take junction 6 off the M5 and follow the A449 towards Worcester City Centre. From the West take the A443 and A44, both offer good access to the city centre. If you need help planning your directions feel free to use the interactive map below.

The dress code throughout Worcester Racecourse is smart casual, this means no ripped jeans and no football shirts. We do suggest dressing up for the occasion though as Worcester Racecourse is something you’ll remember for a long time.
